Beautiful night, wanted to eat boneless wings and have a few drinks by the water. Boneless wings were good, fries were borderline cold but service was AWFUL!! Our drinks were empty 3 different times for at least 5-10 minutes each time. Waitress had 3 tables that we could see ( quiet night ) she was in the back (kitchen???) most of the time. Barely checked on us. Acted like she was doing us a favor waiting on us !! Left all our dirty dishes on the table even when we were done an ordered another drink! When we finally had to ask for the bill she put the bill UNDER the dirty dish instead taking it away. Ruined a good night out! Left feeling very disgusted and no manager around when leaving to let them know!!

Awful. The food and the service were just awful. I make Hooters Wings at home all of the time, but I don't have their sauces. So I went there with my girlfriend because it was on the water and we're big fans of Hooters. I have got to say we were completely disappointed. The hostess sat us in a spot with the sun in both of our eyes. We couldn't even see the water where we sat because the wall is moronically placed to block your view from the seat. (I am 6'3 mind you). After asking the waitress to move, we were denied another table. Instead, they rolled down the curtain next to my girlfriend and I, completely blocking the view now. That was fine with us. As long as we weren't blinded by the sun anymore. The thing that irked us is the awful cold tasteless wings, and the fact that the waitress made 2 maybe 3 visits to our table the entire meal, and spent the rest of the time talking behind the bar with some boy. Our drinks were empty most of the meal. It seened as if our waitress thought she could get by on sub-par food, location, and looks alone and to be frank, disappointed on all levels. I will NOT be returning to this location...

The wait staff was not on spot, there was hair on my pickle that came with my over cooked burger. And I could not have mustard on my burger because I was informed after I ordered that they are out of mustard. How can a place like hooters be out of mustard.

Ordered take out. The buffalo shrimp were really good. The wings, not so much--too greasy! I remember a time when Hooters chicken wings used to be lip smacking good, but they have lost there pizazz for some reason. They ooze with oil, and the flavor is bland. Maybe it is time to tweak the recipe. Otherwise, if you are dining in, this Hooters location is actually quite a fun location. It is located on the Cotee River. Customers boat in and park their boats at the dock. Fun food, fun location!

I went here again a few months later. I must caution you that if you go here don't order a steak. I did this time and it was cold and chewy. I had to send it back. They let me switch the order for fried Grouper. It was a really tasty sandwich. So seeing where I had seafood last time and this time. I will stick to seafood here as it was good but not the best. For the best seafood you have to go next door but that is a whole new review LOL!!!!

You know what you get with Hooters, the food is good. The best thing about this location is the view & the service. It is on the river and it is awesome because of it. I have always had good service. The only thing negative is my sister didn't like the fried pickles. I did not try them, because I really am not interested in that genre of food. :) I like the wings tho! They have great premium margaritas at a great price!

This place is all right, but definitely not the best. I'm not a fan of Hooters food, I will say that. I've been here three or four times, usually with friends for birthdays (it's sort of a tradition to eat here, for some strange reason). Whenever I go, whether I eat a sandwich, wings, or steak, my food is either dry, cold, or tasteless. The view of the water is nice, and the service is good as well, but the food leaves much to be desired.

Please see update at the bottom. The location is the best I've ever seen at a Hooters, as it is right on the water, and open aired. The service was terrible. Our group sat outside and mostly ordered burgers and wings. One ordered Fish and Chips, my daughter got clam chowder, and a two of us had fries. I ordered snow crab, which I had to ask for twice, since the first order didn't get to the kitchen. I then had to ask for a shell cracker, which took over 10 minutes to get. We never got the ice bag for our pitcher of beer. Mother Nature didn't help either as it rained on us, just after my snow crab and the cracker arrived over 40 minutes after I ordered it. My daughter couldn't save her chowder and the wings and fries were sogged. When we got inside, a table was dripping from some sort of ceiling leak, a large table wasn't cleared, so our group couldn't sit together, or near each other, and we never got a discount or replacement for our ruined meals. If it hadn't been for the terrible service and the health hazard drip from the ceiling, I think all of us would have returned the next day for another gathering. Maybe next summer, or the next.... UPDATE: I originally gave our visit a one star due to the very poor service. I have recently learned our waitress is someone I had a private conflict with several months ago that was never resolved. I didn't recognize her, but she recognized me. I'm now aware the waitress was intentionally trying to ruin the gathering because she bragged about it. Management is aware of this, and I don't think the waitress works for Hooters anymore. Either way, I no longer feel my experience is an accurate representation of the restaurant. Give 'em a chance!

Best Hooters in Tampa Bay with the best view! By view, I'm referring to the sunset view over the Gulf. One of the Original Hooters (next to the world-famous Clearwater location), this Hooters is tucked away off the beaten path from U.S. 19 and offers a casual, friendly (even family friendly) hole-in-the-wall atmosphere as a wing shack on the Gulf. Any spot along the expansive outside deck gives a great view of the Gulf with even room for a ring toss game and accommodates large parties. Hooters has recently expanded their beer selection and offers a variety of craft beer. Much like any other Hooters, the food is always fresh and service is always with a smile, not that the patrons ever notice smiles.

Really, people still go to these places. The '80's called, they want their restaurant idea back! If you have been to one hooters, you have been to them all. OK food, but this is Port Richey, so women are, well Pasco style. I'm sure they live in and around the trailer parks there. This place is on the water, but don't expect any huge yachts and beautiful people.

When my boyfriend and I walked in we were greated by 3 girls then sent inside to find our own table. The waitress came with 5 minutes but after ordering she wasn't back very often. I had to share my drink with my boyfriend because she didn't come back for refills. Then the wings weren't even that good. The BBQ was off and the medium was bland. We definitely won't be going back there.

This place is one of the coolest atmospheres you can find. The outdoor setting is so nice and with all the fans and plenty of shade, the place stays cool even on a hot day. The food is great and not a bad price. They have the biggest salad for only 5.99. And the buffalo chicken sandwich is awesome. Also the oyster roast is a fun treat to add to the drinking and hanging out. I love this place.

Went back again for another go around this past weekend. It was pretty busy, so we waited a while for our food. Our waitress was pretty good. She was attentive to our drink needs while we waited. But, again we went by boat and the docks where covered in seagull poop. There has been no evidence that they have tried to resolve this issue even though I received an response back from Hooters on my initial review that she would contact this location.

We are very disappointed in our visit. We were not greeted, waited while tables were available, food was not hot, we were not given ice for beer, which was not very cold. When we were finished we were not asked if we wanted anything else. We would have ordered more beer if they had asked. We passed many similar restaurants on our way here. Doubtful we will be back.

Hooters is good for three things... wings, beer and well, lets face it... bewbs. I usually wont order anything except those items (wings and beer... you cant order the bewbs) at a Hooters because experience has taught me that's what they do best. The service is up and down. It really depends on the girl. Some are very friendly and others act as though youre only there to ogle them. I can tell you that 99% of the time Im not there to ogle... okay maybe 80%. The moodiness is understandable though. If I had to deal with corny comments and perverted glances all day Id be irritated. However, you do work at Hooters... it would seem that's par for the course. Ive been to this particular Hooters a number of times. Its typical... except for the great view. It sits on Millers Bayou, a body of water that connects the Cotee River and the Gulf of Mexico in Port Richey. I think that's correct, but Im no sailor. You can come by boat or land vehicle. Convenient. Overall, I recommend this location. Just remember guys, their eyes are not on their chest. Show some respect. Eyes up.

If you have ever had a second thought about going to Hooters for really good food and service think again, this one is excellent! The location is wonderful as it is directly on the river. The evening we were there the sun was setting over the water and we caught a glimpse of dolphins passing by. We ordered tons of appetizers....clams, steamed oysters etc and it was all wonderful. The waitress went above and beyond to accommodate our group as there were both young and old. We have gone back time and again over the years and are ALWAYS happy we did......consistently awesome.....thanks Hooter people!

It's nice that it's on the water (river). You can pull your boat up. The outfits seem a little demeaning but I hate to be a sourpuss.. and it is fun to see pretty ladies. I dunno. Probably doesn't help that it all feels dated.. I've never been a big 70s fan. I prefer a little dignity and style. :) Would I bring my wife, kids, or a girlfriend here? No. But it's a decent place to go for some Americana and to flirt with waitresses I guess. I dunno.. A little sleazy feeling even for me maybe.. and that's saying something!!! But then I am only interested in people's personalities, intellect and integrity.

Many negative reviews, but the two burgers we had were just fine. Cooked correctly and seasoned well, they were great tasting burgers, with curly fries and tater tots. The menu advertises a burger Monday special, and that's what we tried. I'm not sure what the special was, exactly, since the prices were the same as normal. This Hooters sits on a water view, and that would be the main reason to come here.

Sucks! Service sucks! Isn't 1 time but 20 times! Been there so many times and always an argument from my wife because the service is horrible. This time I'm done. I slipped on the wet hallway to the bathroom when we got there. I almost fell but caught myself on the wall and cut my elbow. Asked for a bandaid twice never got one. Ordered our apps right away when we ordered our drinks. They can out 3 minutes before our entrees! We even asked about the apps to speed it up. Servers are to busy playing with their friends to wait on customers. Want horrible service, go here.

While it wasn't the prettiest bunch of Hooters girls we've seen the service was great and the view of the bay is awesome! You can either park and walk in or drive your boat dockside and enjoy this Hooters. It's definitely one of the better scenic locations of the chain. As for the food, it's Hooters. If you are in the mood for a greasy burger or wings, this is your spot. We tried a myriad of apps, the snow crab legs, a bacon cheddar burger and all were edible and cooked exactly how we ordered them. No complaints. Arriving expecting a great view, good service and average at best food and you'll be thrilled.

Will no be back. We were 8 people. Many issues. First - took a half hour to get our drinks (water, draft beer and margaritas). They had a problem with the barrel. Our drafts were flat - said nothing.. The server brought a second complimentary beer to the table for each of us but my partner did not want one. It was 5:30 on a Friday and they were out of Fish and Chips. Manager came and told us our grilled cheese meal would be covered. It wasn't. Bill had four beers less discount for two beers.

Beautiful location, fast and friendly service. Casual place to day drink and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. Come by car or boat. The food is the food. Greasy steak and cheese sandwich, luke warm fries, over-breaded wings, but; we really only go for the view, cold beverages and atmosphere. Both are in abundance at this location.

We received gift cards for my husbands birthday. So we figured we would use them tonight!! We arrive about 630 they said 45 minute wait. Well, it was only 30 minutes. Woohoo. Sit down inside by the water. So now it's about 7pm. Order drinks wait. Drinks arrive we order Buffalo shrimp order for app. It took them 20 minutes to bring us COLD SHRIMP!! Not even lukewarm. COLD. WE RETURN IT. finally get another order. We ordered dinner. 2 kids meals and 30 wings plus a burger. Shrimp sort of hot. It will do. Hungry ppl here. We finally get out food after an hour of waiting. Husband burger COLD. Not even a smudge warm. Waitress gets him a new burger and fries. Husband likes his meat medium. Guess what it's rare!! He eats it anyway. We are hungry. And now we've been here too damn long. Finally we are done eating. Been waiting at least 15 minutes for the check so we can leave. Waitress gives me the check I noticed they are now charging 79 cents per blue cheese. Ummmm we ordered 30 damn wings plus the 10 the kids had. Whatever. They also charged us for husbands fries. When I asked the waitress she was like it's not big deal. Ummm yes it is when you receive a damn 86$ bill for 4 ppl. I mean seriously. 86 dollars for cold ass food and slow service. I don't get it. This is the last time we come there. With these prices who can afford it. Oh yeah and I had to track her down to get my credit card back. :( service sucked. I think the manager should have at least come over to us once. Another oh yeah, had to ask two times to get the AC turned off Bc it was blowing on my back!! It was set at 63 degrees

If you have a problem with Hooters, you're just a idiot. This place is the best Hooters out of all of them. Any where. It's chicken wings, and good bar food people. Not Bern's steakhouse. Love the new bar it is huge. If you have never been here or are from out of town go at sunset and watch the magic.

This is the worst Hooters ever. My father and I used to go here every Tues for the last two years. Something was messed up every time. It became a joke of what was going to go wrong each time we went. You are probably asking why we kept going back, we liked sitting on the water, watching the sunset, and they have bike parking. We always ordered a pitcher of bud light, 20 wings, breaded, no sauce, two sides of hot sauce and a side of curly fries. We've gotten wings with no breading, wings with sauce on them, burnt fries, warm beer, flat beer, no fries, and undercooked wings. It has taken up to an hour for us to get our food, an hour to cook wings? Sad. Unfortunately a week ago was our final straw. We have not complained about things going wrong, ever. This was our first time saying something to a manager. We arrived and there was a fifteen minute wait for a tabletop the water. We were ok with that, they had tables open in the smoking area, but we don't smoke and the last time we sat there a bird flew over and s*** all over our table. While we were waiting a group of four arrived and were ok with sitting out there, they were led away. Our table came available but needed to be cleaned. While the hostess was cleaning it, the same hostess that greeted both parties, after telling us it was our table, she allowed the party of four snow birds to sit down at the table. They had changed their minds and wanted to sit under the roof. When she walked back to us there was no explanation or apology. I approached her and asked why they were given our table. She stated they were here first. Seriously? There were only two groups of people that came to your host stand in the last 15 minutes, you can't keep track of who arrived first? We had to wait another 15 min for a table. During that 15 minutes we asked three times to speak to a manager. Each time the hostess would say ok and walk away. She would come back a min or two later, and not once let us know the manager was on their way. We eventually are seated, and as we are seated the manager comes over. He greeted us with "what's wrong?". We explain what happened and our frustrations. The manager Bill rolled his eyes and had an obvious attitude, repeatedly saying "yeah and?". There was no apology or even an attempt to empathize with our frustrations. No attempt to rectify the situation. The manager couldn't be bothered to stop by and make sure the rest of our meal went well. That would have been basic customer service. This hooters may be busy during the snow bird season, but they need to remember that they need their year round customers. Some weeks we were the only people eating dinner there during the slow season. Not anymore though, we have found a new Tues night father/daughter dinner night.

Outstanding establishment on the water. There are several seating choices. You can sit in the air condition or outside under roof. Boat docks are easily accessable and there is usually a spot. The wait staff at this Hooters is normally friendly and the service is fairly quick. I think this is by far the best hooters in the area.

Something smells fishy here. I hope it's the fact that this place has a beautiful view on the water and not the... ANYWAY... Food here is great, it's hooters, it's all the same as long as the trained monkey in the kitchen can toss wings. Took longer than average to get seated considering they weren't busy, but hey, ya get a good meal for the money. Try the chipotle BBQ sauce. Has a decent bite and good flavor. Like I said, it's a hooters, you know what you're gonna get. This hoots just happens to have a great view, inside and out. Enjoy!

Awesome location! Love sitting out on the deck (could use a few more sunshades though). Good service and friendly staff. Order your wings hotter than you would expect though. I usually like a medium but I have to order hot here.

Excellent location and the food and service was great.

Service was a little lackluster but they were banging busy so I understand. Props to the manager hoping on service bar to help out. Been there done that. Love the wings.

Was a bit disappointed in the service and the wings. The location was amazing with seating along the water.

My family visits Florida twice a year and have been for many years. We always make it a point to have dinner at HOOTERS everytime we are down. The food, service and location on the water are all EXCELLENT !! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !!

Enjoy!
